About Us

Note From The Founder
From being the first woman in my family to move out unmarried, to navigating anxiety and autoimmune health challenges while managing cultural expectations around marriage and success, I've lived the complexities that many South Asian women face but rarely discuss openly. Whilst looking for support and guidance, I realized that nothing addressed the unique intersection of mental health, cultural identity, and personal growth that defines our experience.

the gap in our community
I created this journal because I kept searching for something that didn't exist—a resource written by someone who understood what it feels like to love your culture deeply while sometimes feeling suffocated by its expectations. I needed guidance from someone who knew the guilt of disappointing parents who sacrificed everything for your opportunities, the complexity of honoring tradition while creating your own authentic path, and the particular loneliness of being caught between worlds.

Explore Your Potential
This journal is created for all the women who navigate the beautiful yet complex world of being South Asian — from the courage of our grandmothers to the possibilities available to their granddaughters - honoring the past while embracing the future.
